Paul Robert Stuckey

Paul Stuckey, son of the late Clarence Samuel Stuckey and Viola (Riggs) Stuckey was born on July 26, 1943 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed his life on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at his residence in Benton, Missouri surrounded by family at the age of 80 years.

He was a farmer, a former Shelter Insurance agent and later owned Paul Stuckey Insurance LLC. Paul was an avid golfer and a very proud Kelly High School alumni and enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play sports. “Stuckey” never met a stranger, was a dedicated family man and was full of life. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg. Paul was also a former member of Benton Jaycees, Benton Chamber of Commerce and Oran Knights of Columbus.

On November 6, 1999 he was united in marriage to Terri Ann Moore in New Hamburg, Missouri. Mrs. Stuckey survives the home in Benton.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Julie Stuckey of Cape Girardeau, Jill (Mark) Klipfel of Benton, and Kendyl Stuckey of Benton; one brother, John Stuckey of Holts Summit, Missouri; two grandchildren, Drew Klipfel and Paige Klipfel of Benton; also by forty-five nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers, Stuart, Sam, Jim, Frank, Charlie, Harold, and Joe Stuckey and by three sisters, Mildred Schiwitz, Juanita South, and Shay Pack.

The visitation will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. in the St. Lawrence Parish Center in New Hamburg. Parish prayers will be held at 5:30 P.M. The funeral mass will be conducted on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. in the St. Lawrence Catholic Church with Father Daniel Belken officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Lawrence Cemetery.
