Paul Melvin Griffin

Paul Melvin Griffin, 77, of Chaffee, Missouri passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at St. John’s Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

He was born on Sept. 24, 1941 in Chaffee to the late Charles Vincent and Igenia Theresa Strack Griffin. He married Charlene Foster on Nov. 14, 1980 and she preceded him in death on April 3, 2013.

He was a retired factory worker for Wohl Shoe Warehouse in Sikeston. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee.

He is survived by a daughter, Sheila Watson of Middleburg, Florida; two sisters, Pauline Asmus of Chaffee and Helen Knudson of Benton, Arkansas; two grandsons, Darrin (Beth) Moore of Springfield, Missouri and Dustin (Jamie) Foster of Rochester, Minnesota.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.

Friends may call after 9:00 am on Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Parish Rosary will be at 12:00 noon at the Chapel.

Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 pm on Monday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church with Rev. Randy Tochtrop as celebrant. Burial will be at St. Ambrose Cemetery in Chaffee.
