Alfred Paul Friga

Paul Friga, son of Alfred Friga of Chaffee, Missouri and the late Rita Mae Bollinger Friga was born on September 1, 1953 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed he life suddenly on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at the age of 67 years.

Paul was a former employee of HWI in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and a resident of Chaffee. He was a member of Chaffee Elks #1810 and Knight of Columbus. Paul was also a member of the Missouri Umpires Association and War Child Riding Group in Chaffee. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and loving spending time with his family.

On May 22, 1971 he was united in marriage to Pattie Jackson in Oran, Missouri. Mrs. Friga survives of the home in Chaffee.

Besides his wife and father, survivors include one son, Brian (Emily) Friga of Jackson, Missouri; one daughter, Lisa (Jason) Townsend of Oak Grove, Missouri; two brothers, David Friga of Chaffee and Robert (Rita) Friga of Enid, Mississippi; one sister, Laura (David) Westrich of New Hamburg, Missouri; grandchildren, Brook (Isaac) Venable, Brandon (Mackenzie) Parker, Brent (Tiffany) Parker, Angela Rehm, Payton Friga, Gracie (Kyle) Patterson, Jacob Campos, and Gabriella Campos; also by great-grandchildren, Bode Johnson, Collins Venable, Beckham Parker, Lane Patterson, Leah Patterson, and Kade Patterson.

Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother, Mark Friga.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021 from 2:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Chaffee Elks will officiate a service at 6:30 P.M. Monday evening.
