Patricia Gayle Dragoni

Gayle Dragoni, daughter to the late Ronald Eugene and Ella Nora Culbertson Dowd was born on August 26, 1949 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed her life on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at the Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 72 years.

She was the co-owner and operator of Castaway Consignment in Cape Girardeau for twenty-five years.  She was of the Methodist Faith and a resident of Chaffee, Missouri.

On October 17, 1970 she was united in marriage to Jack Dragoni in Chaffee and to this union three sons where born.  He survives of the home.

Besides her husband, survivors include two sons, Dr. Michael (Amanda) Dragoni of St. Louis, Missouri and Dr. Mark (Dr. Lissa) Dragoni of Glenview, New York; three grandchildren, Jack Dragoni, Elliot Dragoni, and Madeline Dragoni; also, by other relatives and friends.  Gayle’s children and grandchildren were the greatest pride in her life.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Justin Dragoni and a brother, Michael Dowd.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 11:00 until 12:00 noon at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.  Funeral service will then be conducted on Saturday at 12:00 noon.  Interment will follow in the Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
