Obie Hendrickson

Obie Hendrickson, son of the late Oscar Hendrickson and Ruby Ann Johnson was born November 20, 1932 in Randells, MO and departed this life on Sunday March 7, 2021 at the age of 88 years.

Mr. Hendrickson was a Sargent in the U. S. Army and served during the Korean war.

On November 2, 2001, He married Idres Louise Cox-Dalton, she survives of the home.

Also surviving are four daughters: Patty Taner, of Allenville, MO, Gaila (Randy) Adams of Burfordville, MO, Karen (Ted) Hornbuckle of Zalma, MO, Kathy (Kenny) Pinkerton of Chaffee, MO; two step-sons: Jeff (Nancy) Dalton of Scott City, MO, Mike (Cheryl) Dalton of Jackson, MO; 27 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son: Jerry Hendrickson; two daughters: Doris Kinkade, Donna Vessels; two brothers: Bud Hendrickson, Joey Hendrickson; one sister: Bertha Mae Brumbaugh, one grandchild: Terry Craft; and two great-grandchildren: Noah and Lily Adams.

Visitation will be on Wednesday March 10, 2021 at 12:00 pm in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jack Owens officiating. Burial will follow in the Perkins Cemetery with full military honors in Perkins, MO.
