Norma Holder

Norma J. Holder, 87 of Scott City, Missouri died Friday, January 20, 2023 at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  She was born June 13, 1935 in Kelso, Missouri to Ben and Olivia Scherer LeDure.  She married Herb Holder on November 19, 1955 in Kelso, Missouri.  He preceded her in death on December 20, 2018.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City.  She enjoyed cooking, working with flowers, yard and painting outside.

She is survived by two sons, Ron and Randy Holder of Scott City; a sister, Arvella Robert of Kelso’ three grandchildren, Mitch (Lexie) Holder of Benton; Jeff Holder of Scott City and Abby Holder of Chaffee and three great grandchildren, Caleb, Austin and Journey.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Tracy Holder; three brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Wednesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Scott City.
