Nancy "Nana" Loraine Pruett

Nancy “Nana” Loraine Pruett, daughter of the late Edward Andrew McMullin and Dollie Hazel Newell-McMullin was born on October 19, 1945, in Morley, Missouri and departed this life on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 75 years.

Nana was a crazy lady, who enjoyed colleting anything that she thought was pretty, especially dolls. She was known for her unique voice that could be heard in any crowd. She was spoiled by her parents, her siblings, her husband, her children and her grandchildren all of her life.

On May 27, 1962 she was united in marriage to Charles Elwin Pruett Jr. in Morley. Mr. Pruett preceded her in death on November 9, 2001

Nana is survived by one daughter and best friend: Dolly (David) Kluesner of Chaffee, MO; one son: Edward Andrew Pruett of Saint Petersburg, Florida; one sister: Edna Nelson of Springdale, Arkansas; one brother: Andrew (Alma) McMullin of Benton, MO; five sister-in-law’s: Tootie McMullin of Morley, MO, Betty Jo (Dennis) Carnell of Leadwood, MO, Nancy Pruitt of Morley, MO, Frances (Larry) Schmidt of Hillsboro, and Sharon Noah of Cape Girardeau, MO; two grandchildren: Samantha (Matt) Peters of Patton, Missouri, Jerome Kluesner of Chaffee, MO; three greatgrandchildren: Dierks Simmons, Hailey Peters, and Abby Kluesner, many nieces and nephews and great friends that really adored her. She was also Nana to many of her grandchildren’s friends. She also leaves behind on beloved dog Daisy.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Marvin, Lloyd McMullin; two sisters: Mary Hall, Lola Bessa; the brother-in-law’s: Robert Nelson, David Pruitt, Vernon Pruitt;

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Monday, May 24, 2021 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, MO. Funeral Service will be on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Old Morley Cemetery in Morley, Missouri.
