Myrtle Steimle

Myrtle Steimle, 89, of Chaffee passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at her residence surrounded by family. She was born August 26, 1932 in Chaffee, Missouri to the late Ottis and Bertha (Kynion) Smith.

On May 29, 1965 she married John L. Steimle. He preceded her in death on August 25, 1984.

She is survived by one son: Jim (Mary) Menz of Scott City, Missouri; one daughter: Caroline (Dennis) Nihiser of Buda, Texas; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Apart from her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one son: Paul (Petie) Menz; one daughter: Martha Dannenmueller; and one grandson: Ricky.

Visitation will be on Wednesday August 17, 2022 at the Amick-Burnett funeral chapel in Scott City from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm. Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery in Scott City, Missouri.
