Miles Herbert Piper, Jr., 82 of Scott City, Missouri died Thursday, August 16, 2024 at N.H.C. Nursing Facility in Desloge, Missouri. He was born June 7, 1942 in Missouri to Herbert and Hazel Estes Piper. He married Lavetra Jane Holmes and she preceded him in death on December 22, 2013. He was a custodian for Cape Girardeau Public Schools. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in Vietnam. There will be no services.
