Mildred Mattlene Wilhite

Mildred Mattlene Wilhite, daughter of the late Robert T. Young and Cecile McDaniel Young was born on January 23, 1927 in McGee, Missouri
and departed this life on July 14, 2019 at the Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 92 years.

Mrs. Wilhite was a homemaker, member of the Grace United Methodist Church, and a resident of Rockview, Missouri.

On April 5, 1947 she was united in marriage to Roy Lee Wilhite in Chaffee, Missouri. Mr. Wilhite preceded her in death on May 3, 2007.

Survivors include three sons, Steve Wilhite (Betty) of Morley, Ronnie Wilhite (Cheryl) of Rockview, and Bob Wilhite (Rene) of Chaffee; by three daughters, Faye Jones (John) of Oran, Berta Laubach (Dennis) of Benton, and Shari Austin (Rodney) of Chaffee; one sister, Wilma Hinkle of Greeneville, Tennessee; also by ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee from Noon until 2:00 P.M. Friday July 19, 2019. Funeral services will then be conducted on Friday at 2:00 P.M. in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel with Brother Jimmy Smiley officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
