Mildred Eldridge

Mildred Eldridge, daughter of the late Elisha Crumbaugh and Effie Mills Crumbaugh was born on August 21, 1931 in Rockview, Missouri and departed her life on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at the Saint Francis Medical Center Emergency Room in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 91 years.

She was a former hospitality coordinator for Chaffee Nursing and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Chaffee.  Mildred was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and a resident of Chaffee.

On December 20, 1950 she was united in marriage to Glenn Eldridge in Rockview.  Mr. Eldridge preceded her in death on February 13, 2002.

Survivors include one daughter, Robin (Mark) Graham of Chaffee; by her bonus son, Russell Eldridge of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; three grandchildren, Melony (Jim) Self, Matthew (Jessica) Graham, and Brett (Abbigail) Graham; also, by five great-grandchildren, Matthew Groves, Paizleigh Graham, Haggard Graham, Tessa Graham, and Tuller Graham.

Besides her parent and husband, Mildred was preceded in death by two sons, Brad Eldridge and Keith Eldridge; by two brothers, her twin Milfred Crumbaugh and Charlie Crumbaugh; and by one sister, Ruth Long.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 from 11:30 until 1:00 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.  Funeral services will then be conducted at 1:00 on Friday in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel with Pastor Gwen Streeter officiating.  Interment will follow in the Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.
