Mildred (Millie) Campbell, 92 of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away Friday May 8th 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Chesterfield, MO.
Millie was born September 16, 1927 to Phillip & Myrtle Schearf. She was married to Lynuel Campbell on June 9th 1948.
Millie did many things during her wonderful rich life. She was the lunch lady at Delta High School. Her and Lynuel moved to Kimberling City and a beautiful resort which they ran together for many years. When they sold the resort and moved up onto James River Rd. Millie started working at Silver Dollar City, where she retired from. Millie and Lynuel then moved back to Cape Girardeau.
Mille was always very active and loved playing basketball in High School. She was also an avid golfer and bowler and won many trophies.
Survivors include: daughter - Connie Westbrook, Daughter-in-law - Cathy Campbell, Granddaughters - Angie (Carl) Fitzgerald and Rhonda Campbell, Grandson - Aaron (Claudia) Campbell and a loving Great Grandma to Kala, Connor & Cage and Brothers Elmer and Alvin Schearf.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lynuel Campbell and her wonderful son, Richard (Rick) Campbell as well as five brothers, Levis,Glen, Gene, Donnie and Lloyd Schearf.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. The Funeral will be at 11:00 AM Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Mo, with Rev. Ed Rhodes officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Cape Girardeau, MO directly following the funeral services.
