Mike Avery

George David “Mike” Avery, 66 of Scott City, Missouri died Monday, December 24, 2018 at his home. He was born June 21, 1952 in Ancell, Missouri to Harry E. and Ellodee Winemiller Avery.
He was a retired trucker.
He is survived by a daughter, Jodi (Daniel) Ferrell of Benton, Missouri; three brothers, Jeff Avery of Benton, Randy Avery of Farmington, Missouri and Jimmy Avery of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Sherri Sturm of Scott City and a grandchild, Evangeline Ellodee Ferrell.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday at the First Assembly of God Church in Scott City with Rev. Randy Morse officiating.
