Michael Eugene McMillan, 67 of Cape Girardeau, Missouri died Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born November 17, 1951 in Oran, Missouri to Oliver Scott and Helen Ruth Atkins McMillan, Sr. He married Janet Lee White on April 16, 1976 and she preceded him in death on May 11, 2019.

He was a forklift operator for DHL and he was a member of Life Church in Sikeston, Missouri. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by three brothers, Denver (Pauline) McMillan of Dexter, Bill (Jane) McMillan of Scott City and Charlie (Sharon) McMillan of Sikeston; five sisters, Christina (late Emory) Wondel of Warrenton, Missouri, Ann (Harley) Boze of Scott City, Pat (Jerry) Terry of Republic, Missouri, Gerry Lasater of Columbia, Missouri and Mary (Bob) Yount of Fredericktown, Missouri; a sister by marriage, Karen Stallings and her son and granddaughter, Tony and Kadie Stallings all of Sikeston and numerous nieces and nephews. Brother and sister in-law, Jim and Becky Powell of Charleston and Doddie and Ricky Vaughn of Matthews.

He was also preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Oliver Scott, Jr. and Marion Davis.

A special thanks to Ratliff Care Center and Southeast Hospice.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of service on Saturday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 3:00 pm on Saturday at the chapel with Rev. Darren DeLoach officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston, Missouri

Memorials can be made to charity of choice.
