Michael Houseman

Michael Stanley Houseman, 58 of Benton, Missouri died Friday, October 22, 2021 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  He was born October 27,1962 in Charleston, Missouri to Claude and Evelyn Shoffner Housman, Jr. He married Carolyn Barr on January 27, 1989.

He worked for Service Master in Sikeston, Missouri and was a member of Eagles Club in Sikeston.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn of the home; two sons, Larry (Beth) Pulliam of Benton and Mark Housman of Novi, Michigan; a daughter, Laura (Brian) Alexander of Benton; a brother, Billy Housman of Charleston; a step-brother, Chris Frances of Charleston; a sister, Kay Bone of Charleston and five grandchildren, Remi, Brayden, Peyton, Jakob and Kaden.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Rhonda Pehm.

Visitation will be from 4:00- 8:00 pm on Thursday at the Unity Baptist Church in Benton.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Friday at the church with Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating.

Burial will be in Unity Baptist Cemetery in Benton.
