Melvin Johnson

Melvin Charles Johnson, son of the David Howard Johnson and Patsy Ann (Surface) Johnson was born July 19, 1976 in Chaffee, Missouri and departed his life on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 46 years.

Apart from his mother, he was survived by three brothers: David (LaDonna) Johnson of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Bryan (Gail) Johnson of Jefferson City, Missouri, Michael (Alice) Johnson of Thebes, Illinois; two sisters: Michelle Johnson of Scott City, Missouri, Lisa (Travis) Moit of Scott City, Missouri; eight nieces and nephews, and fourteen great-nieces and nephews.

Apart from his father, he was preceded in death in by two nieces:  Alana Shy, and Cherish Huskey.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
