Melissa Berner

Melissa L. Berner, daughter of Norbert Berner, and Shirley Lorch, was born on September 9, 1959 in Clarksville, TN and departed this life on December 8, 2020 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 61 years.

On September 13, 1981 she started her life with her wife Lois Colter, she survives of the home.

Besides her mother, survivors include: one daughter: Samantha Berner and wife Ashley Emmons of McClure, IL; two brothers: Randy (Mary) Berner of Mountain View, MO, Ron (Louise) Berner of Sarasota, Florida; four grandchildren: Justin Temke, Chase Temke, Wynter Emmons, and Wryn Emmons.

She was preceded in death by her father.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
