Mary Ann Eftink

Mary Ann Eftink, daughter of the late August Gregory Goetz and Agatha Marie Bucher was born on February 6, 1943 in New Hamburg, Missouri and departed this life on Monday, May 18, 2020 at the Monticello House in Jackson, Missouri at the age of 77 years.

On April 20, 1963 she was united in marriage to Thomas Henry Eftink in New Hamburg, Missouri. Mr. Eftink preceded her in death.

Mrs. Eftink was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, former homemaker, helping out on the family farm and a former resident of Oran.Survivors include two sons, Brad Eftink (Marla) of Sikeston, Missouri, Jeff Eftink (Samantha) of St. Paul, Missouri; two daughters, Laura Criddle (Brian) of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Sandy Norwick (Paul) of Mountain Home, Arkansas; one sister Doris Jean Brakefield Bonita Springs, Florida; thirteen grandchildren, Chelsea Riley (Anthony), Camden Criddle (Rachel), Carlee Criddle, Zachary Eftink, Gavin Eftink, Nathan Eftink, Conrad Criddle, Trevor Eftink, Eric Eftink, Dalton Criddle, Asa Norwick, Damian Criddle, and Ryder Norwick; two step grandchildren, Heather Hall and Dusty Hall; by six great-grandchildren, Kienan Riley, Ambrose Riley, Joseph Criddle, Agatha Riley, Carita Criddle, and Lawrence Riley; also by five step-great-grandchildren, Madison Hall, Paige Cullen, Riley Cullen, Josie Hall and Tobie Hall.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin and Norbert Goetz; two sisters, Ella Marie Lix and Shirley Keesee; one grandson, Jude Norwick and one great-granddaughter, Caeli Criddle.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran form 5:00 until 8:00 with prayer service at 7:00 pm. Eucharistic Celebration will be held on Friday, May 22, 2020 at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran at 1:00 pm conducted by Father Randy Tochtrop. Interment will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.
