Martha E. Felty

Martha E. Felty, daughter of the late George Herman McBride Sr. and Juanita Lear Robbins was born on May 23, 1948 in Bloymeyer, Missouri and departed this life at the Mercy Hospital in Lebanon, Missouri on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at the age of 73 years.

Mrs. Felty was a former cook for Chaffee Elementary School and retired from Throngate LDT in Chaffee.  She was a member of the Chaffee General Baptist Church, and Ladies Auxiliary V.F.W. post #3127.

On January 26, 1973 she was united in marriage to Steven Wade Felty.  Mr. Felty preceded her in death on March 15, 2008.

Survivors include one son, Steve (Karry) Felty of Chaffee, Missouri; one daughter, Mary Felty of Chaffee; three brothers, George (Suger) McBride of St. Roberts, Missouri, David (Sandy) McBride of Chaffee, and George Herman McBride Jr. of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; by five grandchildren, Mitchel Burton, Tucker Burton, Jordan Wilburn, Reece Felty, and Cooper Wilburn; also, by one great-granddaughter, Ava Burton.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death one sister Patty Schmitt.

Memorial graveside service will be conducted on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee with Rev. Donnie Ford officiating. Interment will follow.
