Marjorie Ann Legrand

Marjorie Ann LeGrand, daughter of the late Adam and Frances (Wiedefield) Asmus was born November 13, 1932 in Oran, Missouri and departed this life on March 14, 2021 at her residence in Oran, Missouri at the age of 88 years.

Mrs. LeGrand was of Catholic faith, and she attended Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, Missouri, she was a member of the Saint Ann Sodality, a K. C.ette, and a member of the VFW in Morley. She loved to dance, listen to music and spend time with her friends and family.

On September 5, 1951 she married Norman (LuLu) LeGrand, he preceded her in death on April 21, 2005.

She is survived by one son: Patrick (Karen) LeGrand of Oran, Missouri; two daughters: Marcia (Gilbert) Roslen, and Michele (Bill) Anderson, both of Oran, Missouri; 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and one special friend: Hubert Halter.

Besides her parents, and her husband she was preceded in death by: four brothers: August (Gus), Alfred, Clarence, Sylvester Asmus; one sister Agnes Landewee.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran with prayers at 5:00pm followed by the KC Service. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, Missouri with Rev. Joseph Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery.
