Margie Louise Wilfawn-LeDure
Margie Wilfawn-LeDure, daughter of the late Melvin “MAC” Smith and Betty Joan Elders-Smith was born on December 6, 1963 in Scott City, Missouri and departed her life on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at the Southeast Healthcare in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 58 years.
She was an employee of Chartwells At SEMO University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and a resident of Scott City, Missouri.
Survivors include two sons, Daniel LeDure and Steven Wilfawn both of Scott City; by five sisters, Debbie Bollinger and Linda Smith both of Scott City, Mary UmFleet of Benton, Maxine Mahler and Becky Moore both of Cape Girardeau; by two grandchildren; Ryan Wilfawn and Brayden Wilfawn; one great-granddaughter, Allie Wilfawn and one great-granddaughter Sophia Wilfawn that will be born in January; her companion, Keith Smith of Cape Girardeau; also, by her furry friend (dog) Runt.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Wilfawn and by one sister, Joanie Wilfawn.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 9:00 until 11:00 A.M. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Funeral services will then be conducted at 11:00 A.M. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tommy Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the Lightner Cemetery.
