Margie Fern Eastwood

Marjorie Fern (Souders) Eastwood, 93 of Chaffee, Missouri passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023 surrounded by family.

She was born on December 4, 1929 in Thebes, Illinois to the late Archie and Mary Margaret Souders.  On May 19, 1949 she was united in marriage to Phillip Ray Eastwood in Paragould, Arkansas.  Mr. Eastwood proceeded her in death on May 6, 2019.

Margie and Phillip enjoyed traveling and visited every state in their near 70 years of marriage, participated in ballroom dancing competitions, hosting game nights for her family and friends, reading, and the St. Louis Cardinals. She is meeting her favorite dogs Teensy, Vienna, Maggie, Scooby, and Mickey at the Rainbow Bridge.

Margie is survived by one daughter, Stephanie (William) Bennett Jr. of Chaffee; three grandchildren, Jarrod (Melissa) Grebing of Clarksburg, Maryland, Brittney (Shawn) Powderly of Chaffee, and Veronica (Mayank) Agarwal of Chesterfield, Missouri; five great-grandchildren, Bennett and Piper Powderly, Willem Grebing, and Layla and Maya Agarwal.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Debra (Jim, who survives) Grebing of Kennett, Missouri and four sisters.

The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the compassionate caregivers at Southeast Health for their kindness and understanding.

There will be no services. Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapels assisting with arrangements.
