Maggie Lancaster, daughter of the late Walter Cleveland Jackson and Clara Mae Myers Jackson was born on January 24, 1927 in Cardwell, Missouri and departed this life on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at the Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Missouri at the age of 94 years.
Mrs. Lancaster retired as a machine operator from Thorngate after 43 years in Chaffee and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chaffee. Former member of the ladies Auxiliary V.F.W. serving as President of Local chapter #930 for 6 years.
On January 23, 1943 she was united in marriage to Jimmie Paul Lancaster in Bell City, Missouri. Mr. Lancaster preceded her in death on December 12, 2009.
Survivors include one daughter, Sherrin Rains of Chaffee; by three grandsons, Danny (Tammi) Rains of Chaffee, Michael (Tony Scott) Rains of Orlando, Florida, and Jason Rains of Chaffee; by four great-grandchildren, Bridget Rains, Daniel Rains, Ashtyn Rains, and Kade Sullivan all of Chaffee; also, by five great-great-grandchildren Blain Rains, Landon Rains, Hailey Rains, Kynlee Mirly, and Krue Mirly.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Visitations will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral home in Chaffee. Funeral services will then be conducted on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee with Rev. Josh Boley officiating. Interment will follow in the Williams Cemetery in Perkins.
