Lula Mae Cagle Boshell
Lula Mae Boshell, daughter of the late Melvin Cagle and Muriel Gay Woodson was born on April 1, 1952, in Dexter, Missouri and departed her life on Friday, July 28, 2023 at her residence in Oran at the age of 71 years.
She was former Medical Records Director at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston and Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Lula was a member of the First Baptist Church in Oran where she was a Sunday School Teacher, chairperson of Nominating Committee, and Secretary/Treasury of the Ministerial Alliance.
On September 24, 1971 she was united in marriage to Michael Wayne Boshell in Morehouse, Missouri. Mr. Boshell survives of the home in Oran.
Besides her husband, survivors include two sons, Larry (Angela) Boshell and Michael (Brandy) Boshell Jr. all of Oran; two brothers, Terry Cagle of Dexter and Tommy Cagle of Swansboro, North Carolina; one sister, Laura Ann Johnson of Cape Girardeau; by four grandchildren, Brittany Ward, Rylee Boshell, Hannah Boshell, and Halle Boshell; two great-grandchildren, Jaiden Cowley and Xander Johnson; also, by other relatives and a host of friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death one grandson, Hunter Michael Boshell; and by two brothers, Timmy Cagle and Larry Cagle.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at the First Baptist Church in Oran with Rev. Donnie Ford officiating.
