Lucille "Granny" Graviett Stigall

Our beloved granny went to her heavenly home on June 28, 2019 in Universal City, Texas.

She was born the daughter of Clarence Lee and Mary Lula Evans Graviett on August 31, 1918 in Poinsett, Arkansas.

At the age of five, granny’s family moved to Oran, Missouri. At the age of sixteen she married the love of her life Evan Mason “Bud” Stigall on December 25, 1934 and they were blessed with one daughter, Shirley Jean Stigall (Guiling). Granny was a beautician for 25 years until retiring in 1983.

Granny is survived by a granddaughter, Betty Jane (Ruben) Cervantes of Universal City, Texas; a grandson, James “Buddy” (Loretta) Guiling of Lindsey, Texas; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Other than her husband and parents, granny was preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley and a grandson, Danny Guiling; two sisters and four brothers.

Visitation will be at 10:00 am until time of service on Monday, July 8 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Service will be at 11:00 am with Rev. Donny Ford as officiant with burial to follow at Friend Cemetery in Oran.
