Louise "Jean" Foulk

Louise “Jean” Foulk, daughter of the late Louis and Rosa (Estes) Gremard  was born February 7, 1931 in Portageville, Missouri   and departed this life on January 7, 2022 at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 90 years.

On November 20, 1949 she married Leroy “Pete” Foulk in Scott City, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 20, 1990.

Mrs. Foulk is survived by one son: Ervin (Docia) Foulk of Saint Charles, Missouri; one daughter: Nelletta (Samuel) Godwin of Jackson, Missouri; one brother: Harvey (Nadine) Gremard of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two grandchildren: Rebecca (Anthony) Byers of Indiana, James Foulk of Saint Charles, Missouri; and on great grandchild: Dylan Byers of Indiana and many nieces and nephews.

Apart from her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two grandchildren Samuel Jr. and Samantha Godwin, one sister: Myrtle Maloney; and three brothers: Ralph, Robert and Allen Gremard.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Monday, January 10, 2022, at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Funeral will follow on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 10:00am in the St. Mary’s Cathedral in Cape Girardeau, Missouri with Rev. Allen Saunders officiating. Burial will follow at the Lightner Cemetery in Scott City, Missouri.
