Louise Carbaugh

Tila “Louise” Carbaugh, 94 of Jefferson City, Missouri formerly of Scott City, Missouri died Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in Jefferson City, Missouri.  She was born February 13, 1927 In Illmo, Missouri to Louis Samuel and Barbara Allen Carroll LeTempt.  She married Harry Curtis Carbaugh, Sr. on June 12, 1943. He preceded her on January 3, 1998.

She is survived by a son, James Theodore “Ted” Carbaugh; three daughters, Harriet Louise Webb, Ruth Ann Carbaugh and Rebecca Sue Debrodie; seven grandchildren, Chris Webb, Trevor Carbaugh, Sue Ann Surface, Clayton Carbaugh, Sheldon McCarthy, Jason Carbaugh and Danielle Morris; nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild with one on the way.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Harry Curtis Carbaugh, Jr.; a grandchild, Trenton Carbaugh and three brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm on Monday, January 31, 2022 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 12:30 pm on Monday at the chapel with Rev. Mark Carbaugh officiating.

Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
