Louis Gould

Louis Ray Gould, 81 of Scott City died Saturday, July 29, 2023 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  He was born February 5, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri to Robert and Ila Pearline Metzger Gould.  He married Brenda Pearl McBurnett on December 8, 1961.  She preceded him in death on February 7, 2004.

He is survived by two sons, Loren Gould of Scott City and Robert (Kathleen) Gould of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; two daughters, Lourenda (Kevin) Vandermark of Poplar Bluff and Selena (Ricky) Weaver of Benton, Missouri; a sister, Leona Mahoney of Palm Springs, California; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday at the chapel with Rev. Randy Morse officiating.
