Lorena Halter

Lorena Frances Halter, 85 of Scott City, Missouri died Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Missouri.  She was born March 23, 1935 in Chaffee, Missouri to John Anthony and Bertha Lorene Lauck Halter.

She had worked at Thorngate at a seamstress.  She was a member of Rock of Cape Church.

She is survived by a son, David (Laura) Halter of Scott City; two daughters, Sandra Baldwin of Advance and Susan Halter of Scott City; two sisters, Elizabeth Stubbs of Chaffee and Ann Mae Smith of Ringgold, Georgia; eight grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Danny Halter; three brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm  on Monday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday at the chapel with Rev. Mark Carbaugh officiating.

Masks are recommended but not required.
