Lorean Knupp

Lorean Knupp, daughter of the late Jesse E. Barbeau and Leona B. Misplay Barbeau was born on August 22, 1912 in Sikeston, Missouri and departed this life on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Missouri at the young age of 108.

Mrs. Knupp was a member of the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Missouri and a former resident of Scott City.

On December 25, 1929 she was united in marriage to Claude Knupp in Scott City, Missouri.  Mr. Knupp preceded her in death on August 24, 1970.

Survivors include two daughters, Kay Johnson in Scott City and Doris Lawrence of Rogersville, Missouri; by one daughter-in-law, Charlotte Knupp of Scott City, Missouri; by seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded by one son, Tom Knupp and by one daughter at birth, Delores Knupp.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  Arrangements conducted by the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, Missouri.
