Lois Mae Chapman, 76 of Chaffee, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at St. Francis Medical Center surrounded by her family.

She was born on August 4, 1942 in Randles, Missouri to the late Martin and Mildred McCormick Menz. She married Kenneth E. Chapman on Sept. 6, 1963. They were married 25 years.

Lois was a retired inspector with Columbia Sportswear in Chaffee. She was of the Christin Faith. She was an avid salt & pepper shaker collector and enjoyed nothing better than dancing, country music and spending time with family. Her sons and grandchildren were her pride and joy.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth (Paula) Chapman of Cape Girardeau and Keith (Diane) Chapman of Chaffee; a brother, Jerry Menz of Raymondsville, Missouri; two sisters, Joyce “Dink” (Charles) Howell of Delta and Judy Menz of Chaffee; five grandchildren, Korey (Katie), Kayla, Mackenzie, Madison, and Chevy; a great-grandchild, Kaynen.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Marty Menz; two sisters, Kathy Crader and Janet King.

Friends may call after 4:00 pm on Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday at the Chapel with Rev. Danny Freeland officiating. Burial will be at Kenyon Cemetery in Delta.
