Lisa Stewart

Lisa Marie (Pruitt) Stewart, daughter of the late Harold Robert Pruitt and Betty Jean Chancler was born April 14, 1960 in Cape Girardeau and departed this life on Thursday August 12, 2021 at her residence in Commerce, Missouri at the age of 61 years.

Ms. Stewart attended St. Paul United Methodist Church in Commerce, Missouri. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, going to yard sales, and had a special place in her heart for animals.

Ms. Stewart is survived by two sons: William Hunter (Alexis) Johnson of Troy, Missouri, Trevor Lee Johnson of Commerce, Missouri; one step-son: Matthew L. Stewart; two brothers: Kenn (Rose Marie) Pruitt of Arnold, Missouri, Michael D. Pruitt of Commerce, Missouri, nine grandchildren: Tucker, Alivia, Abby, Aria, Zeek, Lyra, Violet, Riley Jo, Caroline Nicole; and one close friend Barbara Essner.

Apart from her parents she was preceded in death by one stepson: Paul E. Stewart; two brothers: Harold R. Pruitt Jr., George W. Pruitt; two sisters: Mary Elizabeth Tripp, and Pamala Sue Slattery.

Visitation will be on Thursday August 19. 2021 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, Missouri from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. There will be a private family funeral at a later date.
