Linda L. Tankersley

Linda Tankersley, daughter of the late James Hogg and Lydia (Story) Hogg was born on September 6, 1942 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed her life on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the Mercy Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 81 years.

She graduated from Bell City High School in 1960, homemaker, member of the Perkins Baptist Church, and a resident of Perkins, Missouri.

On May 19, 1961 she was united in marriage to Jerry Edward Tankersley.  Mr. Tankersley preceded her in death on October 27, 2017.

Survivors include one son, Randy (Trina) Tankersley of Perkins; one daughter, Angela (Ed) Moncada of St. Louis; three grandchildren, Lydia, Katlyn, and Brandon; also, by other relatives and friends.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 9:30 until 11:00 A.M. in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee.  Funeral services will ten be held at 11:00 A.M. in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel with Ed Moncada and Danny Tankersley officiating.  Interment will follow in the Williams Cemetery at Perkins.
