Linda Owen

Linda Sue Owen, 66 of Scott City died Friday, January 14, 2022 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  She was born January 22, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri to Emory and Maxine Evans Stacy.  She married James “Kenny” Owen on July 1, 1972.

She worked in maintenance for Wal-Mart.

She is survived by her husband, Kenny; two sons, Jimmy (Crystal) Owen and Kenny Owen of Scott City; a daughter, Sue Ann (Donnie) Keys of Delta; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Cory, Mason, Sara, Jimmy, Rachel and Braxton; three sisters, Opal (Rex) Overbey of Leopold, Martha (Bobby) Little of Scott City and Diane Stacy of Searcy, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Eddie Stacy and Charles Kinder and three sisters, Neva Gail Evans, Debbie Stephens and Vivian Bradley.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Tuesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday at the chapel with Rev. Randy Morse officiating.

Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
