Linda Owen

Linda Joyce Owen, 72 of Scott City, Missouri died Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  She was born July 6, 1948 in Dexter, Missouri to Raymon B. and Frances Elizabeth O’Dell Talley.  She married Eddie Owen on June 4, 1966.

She was a cook for Eagle Ridge Christian School and a member of the Rock of Cape Church.

She is survived by her husband, Eddie; a son, Seargeant Joseph Michael Owen of Camp LaJune, Jacksonville, North Carolina; two daughters, Nancy Kay (Gregory) Roth and Danielle Michelle Owen of Scott City; a sister, Kathy (Steve) Simmons of Advance, Missouri and seven grandchildren, Rebecca Smith, Sierra Roth, Michael Roth, Destin Roth, Cambry Owen, Oliver Owen and Jackson Owen.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Beth Ann Smith and a brother, Ronnie Talley.

Services will be held at a later date.
