Leslie Ella Lacey

Leslie Ella Lacey, daughter to the late James Young and Esther Marie Hilliker Holmes was born on Oct. 20, 1944 in Mississippi and departed this life on November 19, 2021 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 77.

She married Howard Louis Lacey on June 15, 1962 and he preceded her in death on June 12, 2003.

She was a cook for Scott City Schools and Cape Public Schools.

Leslie is survived by two sons, Kevin (Shana) Lacey and Greg (Laura) Lacey both of Scott City; a daughter, Teri (Joe) Hill of Benton; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Keith Lacey; two brothers and five sisters.

There will be a private family service. Arrangements are with Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
