Leona Christine Stoffregen

Leona Christine Stoffregen, daughter of the late Charles Fisher and Birdie Cobb was born on June 17, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri and departed her life on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at her residence in Advance, Missouri at the age of 68 years.

She was the former owner and operator of Leona’s Diner in Delta and Advance from 2008-2012 and an employee of Delta Baptist Church. Mrs. Stoffregen was also a homemaker, loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Leona loved thrift shopping and shopping in general for her grandchildren.  She also loved singing Karaoke and having a good time with all.  She was like a second mother to a lot of people and everyone loved her.

On May 30, 1975 she was united in marriage to Alan Stoffregen in St. Louis, Missouri.  Mr. Stoffregen survives of the home in Advance.

Besides her husband, survivors include one daughter, Casey (Lance) Dannenmueller of Jackson, Missouri; two sons, Jessie Stoffregen of Advance and Corey Stoffregen of Scott City; one brother, Charlie Fisher; one sister Ruth (John) Barstow; nine grandchildren, Courtanie, Jaden, Trevor, Gavin, Priscilla, and Layne Stoffregen, Daimien Wilson, Landyn and Brooks Dannenmueller; two great-grandchildren, Sophia Carroll and Tatum Stoffregen. Daughter in law Bonnie Stoffregen-Dannenmueller.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son Joey Stoffregen and two sisters; Mahala and Betty; foster parents Mr. and Mrs. Bradley.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 6:00 PM in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee with Rev.  Ronnie McAtee officiating.   Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 6:00 at the funeral chapel on Wednesday.
