Leon Phillips

Leon Lindell Phillips, son of Jess W. Phillips, Jr. and Linda Sue Stanley Phillips of Oran, Missouri was born on October 30, 1977 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at his residence in Perkins, Missouri at the age of 43.

Leon was a former welder for Wheelers, enjoyed riding motorcycles, and hanging out with family and friends.

Besides his parents Jess and Linda Phillips of Oran; survivors include, one son, Preston Phillips of Oran; three daughters, Lauren Phillips of Oran, Serinitey Womack and Lacie Phillips both of Marble Hill, Missouri; two sister Sandy Bartels of Frohna, Missouri and Chaundra Mason of Scott City; three grandchildren Luke Phillips, Ava Masters, and Tate Mitchem; also, by several nephew and nieces and many friends.

Memorial visitation will be conducted on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Celebration of Life service will the be conducted on Friday at 4:00 P.M. in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tom McCanless officiating.
