Leanis Collier

Leanis Allen Collier, son of the late Floyd Alfred Collier and Goldia (Brant) Collier was born on October 24, 1948 in Ancell, Missouri and departed his life on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at his residence in Jackson, Missouri at the age of 76 years.

He was a former employee of Union Pacific Rail Road and a United States Veteran of the Air Force.

Survivors include three sons, Cory Collier (Megan), Chad Collier (Candice), and Aaron (Jessica) Collier; two daughters, Angie (Donnie) Oakley and Shellie Miller; one brother, Houston (Mary) Collier; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Ronald Amos, Carmon Collier, and Danny Collier; one sister, Alrhea Henderson.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 11:00 until 2:00 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.  Funeral services will the be conducted at 2:00 with Mark Fisher officiating.  Interment will follow in the Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
