Larry Gene Obermann

Larry Obermann, son of the late Earl Leon Obermann, Sr. and Virginia Marie (Estes) Martin was born on June 14, 1957 in Chaffee, Missouri and departed his life on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 66 years.

Mr. Obermann was a former equipment operator for Strack Stone  in Dutchtown and Columbia Construction in Cape Girardeau. Larry enjoyed hanging out with family and friends, hunting, fishing, and arrowhead hunting. He was a resident of Cape Girardeau formerly of Chaffee.

Survivors include one daughter, Alisha Obermann of Scott City; two sons, Cory Obermann of St. Louis and Clint Obermann of Scott City; two sisters, Brenda Carnell of Dutchtown and Donna Davault of Advance, Missouri; also, by two grandchildren, Zoie Riordan and Ella Riordan.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Terry Obermann and Earl Leon Obermann, Jr. and a sister, Susan Reed.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 11:00 until 1:00 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Funeral services will then be conducted at 1:00 P.M. in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel with Rev. Josh Boley as officiant.
