Larry Eftink

Larry G. Eftink, son of the late Leo Eftink and Josephine Eftink was born on June 19, 1945 in Chaffee, Missouri and departed this life on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri at the age of 76.

Mr. Eftink retired from Cargill in Sikeston, Missouri and a lifelong farmer in Oran.  Larry was a member of the Guardian Angel Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus in Oran.

He was united in marriage to Janet Nenninger in Advance, Missouri on December 29, 1973.  Mrs. Eftink survives of the home.

Besides his wife, other survivors include one daughter, Julie (Chris) McCann of Oran; two brothers, John Eftink of Gordonville, Missouri and Donald Eftink of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; by five sisters, Jane Skinner of Oran, Judy Littleton of Hooks, Texas, Susan Clymer and Sherri Veal both of Scott City and Kim Romano of Benton; also, by other relatives and several friends.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Melvin Eftink.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 8:00 pm Sunday, September 19, 2021 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.  Prayer service will begin at 4:00 pm follow by the Knight of Columbus service at 4:30pm. Eucharistic celebration will be held at 10:00 am Monday, September 20, 2021 at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran with Father Joseph Kelly officiating.  Interment will follow in Guardian Angel Cemetery
