Kylie Mae “Aunt KyKy” Jackson, 23 of Scott City died Wednesday, November 11, 2020, near Morley, Missouri. She was born November 12, 1996, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Ricky and Regina Camden Jackson.
She was a RN-BSN at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau where she worked on the cardiac floor. She loved her job, co-workers and patients.
She is survived by her mother, Regina Jackson of Scott City; her father, Ricky Jackson of Patton, Missouri; a brother, Shawn “Bubby” (Rochelle) Jackson of Scott City; nephew, Korbin Jackson; her grandmothers, Betty Jackson of Scott City and Glenda Mae Camden of Farmington, Missouri, her “fur-baby” Bailey, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Her best friend was her mom with whom she did everything with. They always looked forward to their shopping trips, getting their nails done, and eating at their favorite places
She absolutely loved her Bubby. They loved pestering each other but always helping each other when needed. They were inseparable growing up and always stayed close.
Kylie was a beloved aunt who absolutely adored her nephew Korbin! She was always so excited to take him to get a snow cone, play ball with him, or basically anything he wanted. She loved spoiling him and loved him so much.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers Orley Jackson and Lloyd Camden, an uncle, Drexel Camden and her cousins Brandon and Logan and her best friend “sister” Amelia Fisher.
Visitation will be from 5 – 8 pm on Wednesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Thursday at the chapel.
Burial will be at Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
Family requests that all visitors please wear a mask.
