Kenneth Joe Phillips

Kenneth Joe Phillips, son of Jess Willard and Elsie (Ponder) Phillips was born March 14, 1954 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed this life on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Cotton Point Living Center in Matthews, Missouri at the age of 67 years old.

He served in the Army, and was of the Methodist faith. He was an autobody man, and also a car salesman at COAD Chevrolet. Mr. Phillips was a humorous and generous man and was definitely one of a kind and will be remembered for a long time.

He is survived, by one daughter Jessica Phillips of Sikeston, Missouri; one son: Billy Phillips of Scott City, Missouri; one brother: Jess (Linda) Phillips of Oran, Missouri; nine grandchildren: Timiyah Winston, McKayla Phillips, Marcus Phillips, Malcom Phillips, Jake Phillips, Joe Phillips, Lindsy (Josh) Wikle, Jude Phillips, Brylee Phillips; and two great-grandchildren: Nova and Aurora Wikle.

Apart from his parents, he was preceded in death by one son: Kenneth Joe Phillips Jr., one grandson: Drake Phillips; and one nephew: Leon Phillips.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
