Kendall Gordon Hodge

Kendall Gordon Hodge, son of the late Dariel and Carolyn Hodge was born December 12, 1965 in Saint Louis, Missouri and departed this life on Monday August 23, 2021 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 55 Years.

Gordon was a kind man that never met a stranger; he loved to talk and tell stories and had a voice that was heard by all. He loved to fish and hunt and spend time with his grandchildren who he loved very much.

On December 14, 1985, he married Sharon Mansker in Oran, Missouri. She survives of the home.

Also surviving are two sons Darin (Rebecca) Woods of Oran, Missouri, David Woods of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; two brothers: Bobby Hodge of Advance, Missouri, Jessie Hodge of Benton, Missouri; three sisters; Kim Potts of New Cambria, Kansas, Jennifer Graham of Greenbrier, Missouri, Tara Hodge of Chaffee, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren: Ashely Woods, Austin Woods, Aidan Woods, Kegan Woods, Bella Woods, Averi Woods, Sebastian Woods, Zach O’Neil, Alex Miller, Nathaniel Woods, Cora Woods, Weston Woods, Victor Woods, Abby Robey; two great grandchildren: Ryder Woods and Lydia Woods and many nieces and nephews.

Apart from his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter-in-law: Nikie Woods.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Funeral will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at the New Morley Cemetery in Morley, Missouri.
