Karen Elaine Wright

Karen Elaine Wright, daughter of the late Robert Engelhardt and Georgina (Riffle) Engelhardt was born on September 14, 1956 and departed her life on Friday, December 29, 2023 at the Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 67.

Mrs. Wright was a former cashier at Dollar General Store in Chaffee, Certified Nursing Assistant for Phelps in Home Health in Advance, Missouri, and a resident of Chaffee.

She was united in marriage to Tommy Lee Wright on March 29, 1980.  Mr. Wright preceded her in death on November 16, 2008.

Survivors include one daughter, Melissa Wilson of Chaffee; grandchildren, Kathryn Wilson, Aryanna Brooks, Taylor Anderson, and Jasmine Scott; also, by close family friends; Barb and Danny Sadler of Chaffee; and Tom and Becky Wilson of Illinois.

Celebration of life service will be conducted at a later date.  Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapels assisting with arrangements.
