Julianna J. Mcalister

Julianna McAlister, daughter of the late Harvey McClard and Hettie (Brown) McClard was born on October 7, 1942 in Old Appleton, Missouri and departed her life on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at her residence in Chaffee at the age of 81 years.

She attended the First Assembly of God church in Chaffee and a former employee of Thorn Gate Shoe Factory.

In 1958 she was united in marriage to Eugene McAlister in Advance, Missouri.  Mr. McAlister survives of the home in Chaffee.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Jody (Paula) McAlister of Chaffee, Richard (Linda) McAlister of Allenville, Missouri, and Bobby (Christy) McAlister of McLure, Illinois; one daughter, Christell (Robert) Oberman of Patton, Missouri; one sister Mary Morland of Jackson; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-six, great-grandchildren, and three, great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Donnie McAlister; two brothers, Steven and Billy McClard.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 P.M. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee.  Funeral services will then be conducted at 2:00 PM with Pastor Wayne McAlister officiating.  Interment will follow in the Union Park Cemetery.
