Judith Stevens

Judith Marie Stevens, 81 of Kelso, Missouri died Monday, April 3, 2023 at her home.  She was born November 30, 1941 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Otto J. and Lorene Theresa Schlosser Ressel.  She married Lawrence Harold “Sonny” Stevens on September 11, 1965.  He preceded her in death on September 20, 1997.

She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso and Ladies Sodality of Church.

She is survived by a son, Gary “Chris” Stevens of Kelso; three daughters, Sandy Stevens, Sherry Stevens and Cindy Stevens of Kelso; a brother, Jim (Esther) Ressel of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Joan (Joe) Gleason of San Dimas, California and Valeria Mirgeaux of Scott City.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 8:30 am – 10:30 am on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Missouri with Rev. Tom Wilk as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery in Kelso.
