Johnfer Joe Mcelroy

Johnfer Joe McElroy, son of the late James McElroy and Minnie (Dean) Sweet, was born on February 4, 1940 in Rogers, Arkansas and departed his life on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at his residence in Scott City, Missouri at the age of 82 years.

He is survived by his companion of 22 years: Thresa Zimmerman of Scott City, Missouri; two sons: Randy (Kim) McElroy of Advance, Missouri, Mitchell McElroy of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; two daughters: Karen Carter of Irvington, Alabama, Bobbie Joe McElroy; one brother: Cleo McElroy, of Diehlstadt, Missouri; two sisters: Shirley James, and Shelia Baker; nine grandchildren: and ten great children.

Apart from his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Margaret Privett, and Sharon Brown.

Memorial service will be held from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Monday at the KC Hall in Kelso. Missouri
