John Nation

John Junior Nation, 86 of Scott City died Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Hunter Acres Care Center in Sikeston, Missouri. He was born to John and Florence Blankenship Nation on May 24, 1934 in Illmo, Missouri.

He worked for Cotton Belt Railroad in maintenance.

He is survived by a stepson, Phil Radica of Scott City; two grandchildren, Jarred and Nicholas Nation; three brothers, Richard Nation and Gene (Margaret) Nation of Chaffee, Paul Nation of Scott City and a sister, Judy Enderle of Rockview.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son; three brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be from noon until the time of service on Thursday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm at the chapel with Rev. Ken Strong officiating.

Burial will be in Lightner cemetery in Scott City.
