Joan Burckhardt

Joan Burckhardt, daughter of the late Thomas and Bernedia (Golden) Edmond was born December 7, 1960 in Saint Louis, Missouri and gained her wings on Wednesday January 6, 2021 at Saint Louis University Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri at the age of 60 years.

On August 25, 1979 she was united in marriage to David Burckhardt in Saint Louis. Mr. Burckhardt survives of the home in Chaffee.

Besides her husband, survivors include her son: David Thomas Burckhardt of Longview, Texas; two daughters: Michelle Schwind and Debbie Burckhardt both of Chaffee, Missouri; one sister: Sandy Bremer of Oklahoma; one aunt: Ellen Freeman; five grandchildren: Micheal, Nathaniel, Joshua, Raynee, Nevaeh, and one dog: Tiger.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson: David Joseph Burckhardt, two brothers: Jerry and Coy Edmond, one sister: Karen Walker; and one dog: Minnie.

There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday January 16, 2020 at 1:00pm in the House of Prayer Church on 25 Poinsett in Chaffee, Mo.
